This full-time position reports to the Director of Construction and serves as a key liaison to senior college leadership. This position engages regularly with senior internal and external stakeholders, including College Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors and State Construction Office (SCO) leadership, to facilitate alignment, influence decision-making and lead resolution of complex, high-risk issues that significantly impact core college operations. This position maintains a comprehensive understanding of and actively monitors evolving state and county funding programs, applying that expertise to inform planning, strategy and execution of capital initiatives. This position also applies expert knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and policies, including the North Carolina State Construction Manual, the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) Capital Improvement Guide, the Guilford Technical Community College Construction Manual and all referenced governing documents, to ensure compliance, mitigate regulatory risks and avoid project delays. This position will be based on the Jamestown Campus with responsibilities at the Greensboro, High Point, Cameron and Aviation Campuses as required.

Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a NAAB-accredited architecture program.

Three (3) years of relevant engineering/architectural/construction program experience.
