The selected candidaate will be responsible for serving as an attending physician providing clinical coverage at Stony Brook Universary Hospital Emergency Department, teaching and supervising residents and medical students, contributing to successfull research programs, and providing service in an administrative capacity as required.

In addition to working at Stony Brook Univesity Hospital, the selected candidate may also work at one of our Immediate Care locations in Commack and future sites, as well as East Hampton and Eastern Long Island Hospital based on operational needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  MD/DO Degree (or foreign euivalent) Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency. Board Certification / Eligibility in Emergency Medicine. Eligible for New York State License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduate teaching, research and administrative/committee experience. Completion of post residency fellowships.
