Manage and align NYU Steinhardt’s diverse portfolio of experiential learning activities using technology to manage partnerships and enhance pedagogical practices. Establish and maintain experiential learning infrastructure through collaboration with faculty, external partners, and University and School administrative units. Provide leadership and guidance to department-based internship, fieldwork, clinical placement and student teaching activities and manage School-sponsored programs that have an experiential learning component. Manage contracts and affiliation agreement review process in order to formalize School relations with experiential learning host sites. Support School-wide efforts to increase external partnerships and maintain existing partnerships. Create clear concise communications to guide internal audiences with policy and best practices; and elevate awareness of experiential learning activities to external audiences. Supervise student workers and staff assisting with experiential learning activities.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years at least demonstrated expertise in experiential learning pedagogy and internship facilitation. Experience managing work/activity of peers.
Preferred Experience: 5+ years
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of experiential learning pedagogy, compliance, affiliation agreements, systems and database management, program evaluation
