A highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with one or more years of experience is sought to conduct novel laboratory and translational research in the laboratory of Jennifer Amengual at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the City of New York. The research project will focus on exploring the efficacy of epigenetic targeting in lymphoma and understanding potential biomarkers/genetic signatures that can predict for activity. Specifically we are interested in exploring the intersection of epigenetics and immune activation and surveillance as well as advanced understanding of 3D chromatin structure.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in all of the following areas: general concepts in cancer biology, processing and study of human tumor tissue, tissue culture, preparation of samples for RNA seq and its analysis, PCR, flow cytometry, and mouse models. The candidate must be able to interface with colleagues in a diverse team and communicate effectively.
