Health Services Environmental Specialist
Description: The incumbent will monitor the application of safety standards, serve on infection control and environmental safety committees, recommends corrective cleaning methods, selects types of solvents or cleaning techniques needed and secures necessary supplies; oversees the daily cleanliness of facilities through inspection, checks general appearance of building, maintain cleaning log, complete recurring reports, and make recommendations; ensure readiness of building for various activities. The position ensures the practice of standard routine to provide sanitary and healthy environment of students, staff and faculty. Participates in recruitment and training of staff; and works alongside support staff during employee shortages (i.e., absenteeism's vacancies)
