Part-Time Shop Technician
General Description: The COA Model Shop is a 10,000 SQ FT facility that primarily serves Architecture students, faculty, staff, as well as IPRO courses that include students from a variety of other IIT colleges. The Model Shop provides the equipment, space, software, training and supervision to help students and faculty design and fabricate architectural models, furniture, and larger scale constructions. Maintained and Supervised by a Shop Manager, a Digital Fabrication Manager, and a Digital Technician. After being authorized, students design and fabricate their projects with shop education, supervisory guidance and the help of one of our 15-20 Student Workers.Depart
