POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include: Picking up chemicals, biohazards, and radioactive wastes and updating database. This also includes, fluoreschent light bulbs designated for disposal. Managing waste storage rooms; keeping them organized and cleaned. Ensure that they are in compliance with regulations. Completing, as required by the hazardous waste regulations, the weekly inspection log and reporting to the Biosafety/Laboratory Safety Officer. Maintaining spill response inventory in spill response room. Consolidating chemicals and waste oils. Consolidating, compacting, and storing radioactive waste in preparation for disposal. Ensuring that waste labels on all containers in the wast
