Adjunct Counselor-Admissions
Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Adjunct Counselor-Admissions recruits students by informing prospective students/parents/guidance counselors of educational and vocational programs offered by Westchester Community College. This position serves to reach out to the community by visiting area high schools, community groups, and organizations, in order to meet with prospective students both individually and in groups to disseminate information about our college programs. The Adjunct Counselor organizes visits of students to the college, organizes and conducts campus tours, conducts information sessions, assists in coordinating and participates in on campus events such as Open House, Accepted Students Day, etc. and makes presentations regarding college course
