Position Details:
The Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Program Assistant for a diverse range of administrative and technological support while balancing priorities in support of the School and University goals.
The Program Assistant provides administrative support for both academic and non-academic activities within the school with daily job duties including, but not limited to, the following:
The Program Assistant provides administrative support for both academic and non-academic activities within the school with daily job duties including, but not limited to, the following:
- Working with department chairs and program directors on course schedule documentation and catalogue updates.
- Supporting the Sellinger Assembly Chair by providing logistical and administrative support for monthly assembly meetings.
- Maintaining databases and updating records to comply with AACSB guidelines.
- Supporting experiential learning and capstone activities for graduate programs by coordinating logistics and maintaining databases of activities.
- Maintaining databases including, but not limited to, faculty publication data, mentor programs, Assurance of Learning activities, alumni surveys, and internships.
- With the Sellinger MarComm liaison, maintaining website and social media presence.
- Serving as a receptionist for students, applicants, guest speakers, visitors, etc.
The successful candidate will have:
- Vocational/technology training or an Associate's degree
- Proficiency with MS Office and Teams
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Ability to work independently and be dependable.
- Experience with web editing applications and Tableau preferred
- Work experience within an academic environment is a plus.
