Internal Number: 109270 Assistant / Associate Professor of Medicine /Department of Medicine / Division of Digestive & Liver Diseases The Department of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking applications for a clinical faculty position. An Assistant or Associate Professor level, academic transplant hepatologist is wanted to work in the Center for Liver Disease & Transplantation (CLDT), part of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Division within the Department of Surgery.
Minimum Degree: MD, MD/PhD degree or equivalent and eligible to be licensed to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have completed an ACGME approved fellowships in transplant hepatology and gastroenterology. Must be board eligible/certified in transplant hepatology and gastroenterology; meet UNOS qualifications as a transplant physician. Proficiency in liver biopsies and standard endoscopic procedures also required.
