The Public Health Research Center (PHRC) at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking a Research Assistant for the UAE Healthy Future Study: a cohort study in the GCC region aimed at recruiting Emirati National adults to study health outcomes related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. Position duties require planning, designing and performing various molecular and cell biology experiments. Experimental duties include performing molecular biology and clinical chemistry techniques as well as general lab maintenance, including organizing databases, placing orders, maintaining stock solutions, ensuring lab equipment is functioning properly, training students and personnel and assisting in different research projects in the lab. The candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as individually.

The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
