Internal Number: 22-39A Reporting to the Director of International Admissions, the assistant director will be responsible for the overall recruitment of prospective graduate and undergraduate international students from designated countries or by specific college. Extensive international and domestic travel to cover college fairs, visit high schools, meet with agents and host regional information sessions is required. The assistant director is also responsible for the review and evaluation of applications for admission in addition to helping to guide a communication and outreach program to prospective students and families. Outreach and follow-up to recruit students and the ability to develop and implement new strategies to attract and retain qualified students is also a must. A close working relationship with the Immigration Services Office will be a key component of the position. The successful candidate will also have a basic understanding and ability to manage international culture and diverse educational backgrounds.
