The Rockefeller University seeks a Research Assistant to join Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience. The Research Assistant will work as part of a synthetic and bioorganic chemistry group at the interface of chemistry and biology. The Research Assistant will assist the Primary Investigator (PI) and investigators by performing synthesis, isolation, and analysis of compounds as well as in vitro and in vivo analysis of synthetic compounds.
Bachelor's degree in science required; educational emphasis in chemistry or biochemistry preferred. Must have prior experience performing complex synthetic organic reactions, and isolating and characterizing compounds. Experience performing drug screening and in vitro studies necessary.
